On December 7th, 2022, YouTube user [https://www.youtube.com/@zanderperez1863 Zander Perez] uploaded a bootlegged version of the full unaired ''Rocket Beach'' pilot. The video and audio are of poor quality as it was recorded from a smartphone. Apparently, the uploader went to the Paley Center for Media and the people working there allowed him to record the pilot and show it to the public. Whether or not the people at the Paley Center for Media genuinely allowed him to record ''Rocket Beach'', the footage of the long-lost pilot has been found.

Rocket Beach is a pilot created in 1998 by Arlene Klasky and Gábor Csupó and was pitched to Nickelodeon. After the pilot was made, it was reworked into a Nickelodeon show known as Rocket Power that ran from 1999 to 2004 with 71 episodes.

While information about the pilot remains a mystery, there are notable differences between Rocket Beach and Rocket Power. The pilot's setting is Ocean Park (renamed Ocean Shores in Rocket Power). Twister's ethnicity is Asian instead of Latino and Sam is Latino instead of Caucasian. Sam in Rocket Beach is also said to be from either Nebraska or New York instead of Kansas. The clothing of the main cast is also different from their final designs in Rocket Power such as Otto having an "S" on his shirt and Sam wearing a green shirt with a "1" on it.

Availability

Rocket Beach in its entirety cannot be watched online. The only known pieces of Rocket Beach that are available online are short clips of it that can be seen in the Rocket Power opening intro. However, the full version of Rocket Beach can be watched at the Paley Center for Media in either New York City, New York or Los Angeles, California.

Despite Rocket Beach not being widely available for unknown reasons, many people tried to find clips and images from Rocket Beach and post their findings online. On December 30th, 2009, a 24-second clip from Rocket Beach was uploaded to YouTube by YouTube user nick2010ist. It was taken from Nickelodeon's website back in the late 1990s before the Nickelodeon website was redesigned. Also, on May 25th, 2016, a user from the Lost Media Wikia named Joey! found a never before seen stills from the pilot containing an image of Twister. On September 3rd, 2016, LMW Forums user joey uploaded a background image used in Rocket Beach.

Although people were able to find some content from Rocket Beach, it has yet to surface online with no indication as to whether Rocket Beach will be released by the people who worked on it or by Arlene Klasky herself.

On December 7th, 2022, YouTube user Zander Perez uploaded a bootlegged version of the full unaired Rocket Beach pilot. The video and audio are of poor quality as it was recorded from a smartphone. Apparently, the uploader went to the Paley Center for Media and the people working there allowed him to record the pilot and show it to the public. Whether or not the people at the Paley Center for Media genuinely allowed him to record Rocket Beach, the footage of the long-lost pilot has been found.
