Most are probably aware of the other two animated "sex tapes", but this odd sketch, apparently in protest of changes to Tinker Bell's character post-Peter Pan, is relatively obscure in comparison. Does it exist? Well, it depends on how much you believe Jim Hill's story on it.)

Also, some sites claim a R-Zone version was also made... somehow, I doubt it would have pleased the critics ha.)

Despite being a prestigious event alongside the FA Cup Final and the Grand National, the Boat Race has received virtually no home media releases and much of the BBC's older coverage remains locked away. Were it not for newsreels, nothing from the older races would be publicly available. I've also documented the Women's Boat Race, which received some highlights prior to 2015. Most races lasted <8 minutes... the BBC still cut footage out.)

As per usual, the race was covered live on BBC television and radio. Sadly, midway during the radio coverage, lead commentator Peter Jones suffered a fatal collapse, in what is certainly among radio's darkest moments. Neither the television nor radio coverage has resurfaced, though a TMC report was uploaded to YouTube a few days ago.)

It was mightily impressive for 1949 standards, where the coverage required more cameras than the 1948 Summer Olympics did! Who's in the lead, John Snagge? Might be difficult because Cambridge won by merely a quarter length! The broadcast was subject to a telerecording, but it has not been publicly released. Fun fact: of the "media milestone" races, it is 2-2 overall! Balanced as it should be.)

The latter was even pitched to the BBC in 1957. But interestingly, an even earlier script was written by Warren, which he never discussed in his lifetime. According to David Tucker, there's only a few connections between it and Coronation Street, but it still remains historic. Took a surprising amount of effort to encourage Granada higher-ups of the show's potential, necessitating two pilots and some backing by Granada's personnel. I understand why this storyline received backlash, seeing as Ronnie Branning's actions do not reflect the typical behaviour of a grieving mother. But when considering Ronnie's traumatic past and the tremendous work by the involved actors, I think EastEnders handled the subject matter well. It would be interesting to see the original plans for this narrative. I hope I have treated this topic respectfully.)

The English and Scottish FAs damn near came close to killing the sport with their Football League ground bans, with the game marking an important step forward for women's football's recognition. Indeed, the second Lions-Kiwis match of 1951 was the first televised international encounter... but more importantly, it was also the first outside broadcast of a sporting event to be shown in the North of England! A wise move, considering the popularity of the sport up there.)

Interestingly, following ITV Digital's collapse, BBC and Comic Relief were looking to have Monkey star in a Saturday night show, with a pilot produced. It went unaired, however. Nobody, not even Abouzeide or PWInsider's Mike Johnson, knows why WWE withheld the film. Hopefully, the company changes it mind because Abouzeide is sadly battling Parkinson's disease and certainly deserves the public seeing the work.)

Beausoleil soon mixed with the Manson Family, later torturing and murdering Gary Hinman. A Jimmy Page version was also missing for decades before being unearthed in 2014.
