The Fresh Beat Band is a musical series that ran on Nickelodeon from 2009-2013. The series about 4 friends Kiki (played by Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer) Shout (Thomas Hobson), Marina (Shayna Rose and later Tara Perry) and Twist (Jon Beavers) and their teacher Ms. Piccolo (Monica Lee Gradischek) who all attend a music school and play in a band called the Fresh Beats while helping teach children music appreciation and the values of friendship.[1]

Pitch Pilot

In 2008 a pilot was produced to pitch the show to Nickelodeon (First titled The Beatkinz then changed to The JumpArounds).[2] The pilot shows a slightly younger version of the cast that are about to perform at the school with further information on it such as its full plot is unknown.[3] When Nickelodeon greenlit the show, they heavily promoted it with multiple music video staring the band on the network. Before the show's premiere, the name was changed again to The Fresh Beat Band.

Status

Although less than a minute of footage resurfaced from a 2014 Monica Lee Gradischek reel, no other footage of the pilot or any other information regarding it has resurfaced.
