Some new information was revealed: first, in episode 4, about 5 minutes of content were removed, due to characters fighting with nunchucks. At the time, British censors didn't allow nunchuck usage on television. Second, unlike the Animaze dub, the next episode previews were cut. However, ADV ''did'' keep the Japanese opening and ending themes.

Street Fighter II V is an anime series loosely based on the 1994 fighting game Super Street Fighter II Turbo.

The anime has two English dubs in existence. The first dub was made in 1996 by Manga Entertainment and Animaze with the same cast from the Street Fighter II movie.[1] For some reason, the UK branch of ADV Films made an alternate English dub recorded in Houston for European English countries.[2]

Availability

The Manga dub was released on DVD and is easy to find online. However, the ADV dub was only released on VHS during the 1990s in Europe. Because of its obscurity, the ADV dub is hard to come by online. The seventh episode was uploaded to YouTube by Princescyther.

On March 7th, 2021, a torrent on nyaa.si containing DVD remuxes of the R2J DVDs was uploaded. Some new information was revealed: first, in episode 4, about 5 minutes of content were removed, due to characters fighting with nunchucks. At the time, British censors didn't allow nunchuck usage on television. Second, unlike the Animaze dub, the next episode previews were cut. However, ADV did keep the Japanese opening and ending themes.

On July 24th, 2021, the series was uploaded to the Internet Archive by user Takaokun.
