There are demos dating back to 1992 with some original band members. During mid-1997-1998 Anders and Corey worked together, with Corey covering some demos before Anders left in 1998.
The demos from the band come in many different ways, and more keep popping up every day, Mate.Kill.Feed.Repeat. had several releases, and bootlegs of "crowz" show up every once in a while with minor differences.

Once Corey Taylor joined Slipknot, Anders Colsefni quickly left the band and the demo project as it existed at that point, was scrapped. Corey's vocals were recorded on top of the already existing backing tracks, and the collection of songs was to be the starting point for a new demo album set for release in 1998. Fake live crowds were also added to the demo.

Slipknot is an American heavy metal band from Des Moines, Iowa. Formed in 1995, Anders Colsefni originally acted as lead vocalist before being replaced by Corey Taylor in 1997. However, there are lost demos that date back to 1992, featuring some of the original band members. During mid-1997-1998, Anders and Corey worked together, with Corey covering some of the demos before Anders left. So far, only some of the songs from the demos have appeared up online. It is important to remember nearly all lost tracks exist in private collections and are preserved digitally.
