Deux Romains en Gaule ("Two Romans in Gaul" in French) is an animated/live-action TV movie released in 1967.[1] The film is noteworthy for containing the first on-screen animated depiction of the comic book character Astérix.

For years, the film was not released in any home video format, only receiving intermittent screenings in worldwide cinemas (including a 2007 screening honoring writer René Goscinny's death). [2]However, Wildslide Studios released the film on DVD and Blu Ray on February 20, 2013, making the film officially available.[3]
