If this were ever released, it would have probably sucked knowing US Gold's track record and the fact they likely would have had Tiertex (Known for piles of garbage like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and crappy ports of arcade games including Sega games like OutRun [Technically OutRun was done by US Gold but still]), it's safe to say an Amiga port of Sonic the Hedgehog would have been a slow, buggy unplayable mess.
