For many years, the IMAX cut was impossible to view in its entirety. Until June 8th, 2023, when Lost Media Wiki member YoshiKiller2S was tipped off by an anonymous friend that a theater bootleg of the IMAX cut existed. Then on June 9th, 2023, Yoshi obtained the ''Transformers'' bootleg from MySpleen user WJM. Apparently, WJM had this bootleg for around 2 years without knowing of its rarity. <ref>[https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RUUyrFGR-k31ItPmm7jix_LEg3Qz6qN6/view?usp=sharing The full TRB of the IMAX cut.] Retrieved 09 Jun '23.</ref>
