'''Chadtronic''' is a YouTube channel that makes reaction videos, toy unboxings, and more. The creator used to have a YouTube channel called '''''The Video Game Ref''''', a Let's Play channel that was taken down months later before the creation of Chadtronic.
'''The Video Game Ref''' was a Let's Play channel on YouTube created by '''Chad Brunsvold'''. The series acts as a sort of predecessor to the much more well known and currently ongoing YouTube channel [[Chadtronic (partially lost unreleased/deleted videos of let's play/reaction YouTube channel; 2013-present)|<span style="color:blue;">'''Chadtronic'''</span>]], another YouTube project of Brunsvold's. The Video Game Ref YouTube channel was created on February 25, 2013, but no videos would be uploaded until the pilot episode on March 27, 2013. An excerpt of the channel's description reads as follows:
<blockquote>'''So you want to buy some games, But they all just seem the same: Boring, dull, or really lame. Well, you need a guy to make a call.'''</blockquote>
These are lyrics taken directly from the Video Game Ref theme song.

No videos or screenshots are available online outside of the removed channel. Only the theme song that was composed by Micheal Betz remains. Despite Chadtronic's claims, more than 2-3 videos were made. Most of them are Let's Plays of NES games.
A couple of clips are available of videos from the channel; and the theme song that was composed by Michael Betz remains. Despite Chad's claims of only 2-3 videos being made, at least 13 videos were uploaded to the channel. Most of them are Let's Plays of NES games, as stated by Chad.

(A short clip of this video can be found in the video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4pga_ff0gM <span style="color:blue;">'''Slender: The Arrival - Part 1 - Chadtronic'''</span>] on the [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGoz9OGjlPCchueuOixnzkA <span style="color:blue;">'''ChadtronicGames'''</span>] channel. In that video before the clip of this video plays, Chad claims that he made this video before he even had a YouTube channel. This, however, is untrue, and even if Chad means this video was recorded before he had made The Video Game Ref, it is more likely that Chad just means that this video was made before the Chadtronic channel's creation, ignoring The Video Game Ref's existence. And Chad also had a channel before The Video Game Ref called Darthbrunsvold, so even if this video was filmed before the creation of The Video Game Ref, Chad still had the Darthbrunsvold channel that he posted on. No evidence of a ''Slender: The Eight Pages'' (the game Chad played in this video) gameplay video on Darthbrunsvold has been found. There is also a chance that the clip shown is of '''CHAD IS SCARED OF SLENDER!! - Part 2''', but this video is more likely to be the video shown. This video was updated on December 19, 2013 and March 21, 2014.)

The Video Game Ref channel logo

Status: Partially Found

The Video Game Ref was a Let's Play channel on YouTube created by Chad Brunsvold. The series acts as a sort of predecessor to the much more well known and currently ongoing YouTube channel Chadtronic, another YouTube project of Brunsvold's. The Video Game Ref YouTube channel was created on February 25, 2013, but no videos would be uploaded until the pilot episode on March 27, 2013. An excerpt of the channel's description reads as follows:

So you want to buy some games, But they all just seem the same: Boring, dull, or really lame. Well, you need a guy to make a call.

These are lyrics taken directly from the Video Game Ref theme song.

Patreon Q/A

On September 28th of the same year, Chadtronic created a Special Patreon Q/A, where members of his Patreon asks Chad a question. Lane (the same guy who made his VGR video) asked him a question about his old channel.

"Saw a couple of you ask about this surprisingly. Video game ref was my YouTube channel before Chadtronic. It was nothing special really, it only had 2-3 videos on it, all of them basically being NES let’s play videos. The videos were absolutely terrible, nothing near the level of content I make today. You’re not missing out on anything trust me."

Availability

A couple of clips are available of videos from the channel; and the theme song that was composed by Michael Betz remains. Despite Chad's claims of only 2-3 videos being made, at least 13 videos were uploaded to the channel. Most of them are Let's Plays of NES games, as stated by Chad.

CHAD IS SCARED OF SLENDER!! - Part 1 Oct 23, 2013 75wCwUI5fz4

Partially Found (A short clip of this video can be found in the video Slender: The Arrival - Part 1 - Chadtronic on the ChadtronicGames channel. No evidence of a Slender: The Eight Pages (the game Chad played in this video) gameplay video on Darthbrunsvold has been found. There is also a chance that the clip shown is of CHAD IS SCARED OF SLENDER!! - Part 2, but this video is more likely to be the video shown. This video was updated on December 19, 2013 and March 21, 2014.)
