i'm looking for help to find a story that i read long time ago in a french magazine gonna put here all the details i can remember and hope someone knows it

i read it in winter so it was either at the end of 2010 or the beginning of 2011 it had big pictures too along with the story, it starts with the rat staring at the girl secretly and admirably while she's in the barthroom i think she was talking about some other guy she likes or she was just silently preparing to go to school and one day the girl loses an important ring bc it fell in the sink of her bathroom or i think it could also be a piece of earrings but most likely a ring and rat sees how devastatede she is so he goes on an advantages to get it back for her and confess to her to earn her love but he also had an inferiority complex thinking he's not worthy of her bc he's just a rat and she'll just freak out, and on his advantage in the sewers he meets evil big scary rats who try to steal the ring but at the end he succeeds and takes it back to the girl but doesnt end up talking to her but the ending wasnt that simple it had a plot twist that is really endearing and cute
