Virtual Jockey is a cancelled 1996 horse-racing simulation game that was in development by Right Stuff for the Virtual Boy. It was never finished before the Virtual Boy was cancelled. Some of the game mechanics were used in the PS1 game Jockey Zero.
Plot
The player character goes participate at the Japanese derby, which has more than 20 contestants in total.
The protagonist's father having won at this before, he wants to impress him with a victory of his own.
In order to achieve his goals, he must become familiar with the characteristics of his unique talking horse and the courses to win. With the horse, he can become familiar with the other horses.
The player must also defeat the Kaiser Corps, vile rivals who are also suspected of sabotaging the derby in order to win.
