CNN Student News is a student spinoff made by CNN that started around 2007, in which was hosted by Carl Azuz. It is considered a more educational version of CNN, but with some comedy placed into it as well. The show was more well known during the late 2010s, and early broadcasts of the show were extremely hard to come by. Other than transcript pages of the older episodes from previous years, many of the older broadcasts from previous years have been lost to time as the old webpages saved by CNN started to become broken and many of the features on the old pages no longer work anymore, including the old broadcasts.

Many of the episodes from 2008 to 2009 were uploaded by YouTube user wlfan0656, in which were put into a playlist called "CNN Student News"[1]
