The World of Power and Women (力と女の世の中) was a short Japanese animated film directed by Kenzo Masaoka.[1] The film was released on 13 April 1933 as the first Japanese animated film to feature voiceovers.
The plot of the film consisted of the protagonist, a father of four children, becoming involved in an affair with a typist at the company he works at, after being constantly henpecked by his wife. He accidentally reveals this fact to the typist while talking in his sleep. The protagonist's wife then obtains more evidence of the affair and goes to her husband's office to confront both him and the typist.[2]
No prints of the film are known to exist.
