Sonic the Hedgehog is an action-comedy film based on the video game franchise of the same name. The movie was distributed by Paramount Pictures and premiered on February 14th, 2020. An early trailer revealed at CinemaCon 2019 has not resurfaced since its preview at the event.
Background
Around early 2019, CinemaCon 2019 began, lasting for 3 days, starting on April 1st and ending on April 4th and taking place in Las Vegas. For 3 days, many trailers and footage of upcoming movies were shown, one of which being Sonic the Hedgehog.
The trailer showcased an early version of the other trailer which is available to the public, the only difference being that it features a slightly different design of Sonic, and the backgrounds are slightly different, as well as the trailer featuring different music ("Everybody Dance Now" plays for a portion of the trailer, though in the other trailer, "Gangsta's Paradise" plays the entire trailer).
