Princess Sara 小公女セーラ (Shōkōjo Sēra) is a Japanese anime television series based on the 1905 novel ‘A Little Princess’ by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It originally aired from January to December of 1985.

In 2004, the series was broadcast on Animax’s English language networks in Hong Kong. However, almost no information is known about this dub. It is in Animax’s catalog of programs broadcast, however there is no further information about it in their catalog. Nothing of the Animax dub has resurfaced. [1]

While Animax is said to be the only dub of Princess Sara, there were rumors of an English dub airing in Cartoon Network Asia. There is no confirmation or proof of its existence.[2]

An official website for Princess Sara by Animax exists. However, it is in Japanese. The site explains the plot and history of the anime series.[3]
