=== The CCTV footage ===
Many surveillance cameras were operating on the day of the shooting. Exterior cameras captured the police response. Interior cameras captured the massacre unfolding. Of the many video recordings, only 1 has been released to the public so far. The edited video shows Scot Peterson, the school resource officer, responding to the shooting. The remaining 26 minutes shows that he never entered the school.

While this is still an active crime investigation, and more exterior CCTV footage is most likely to be released, video from inside the school will likely never see the light of day.
