Minecraft: Story Mode (partially found Netflix interactive specials of Minecraft spin-off video games; 2018-2022)

Minecraft Story Mode: An Interactive Adventure was an interactive animated series remake of the first season (only the season pass, 1-5 epsiodes) video game originally developed by Telltale Games on Netflix only for supported devices. The interactive series was released on November 27, 2018. This was one of Telltale's final projects before their shutdown and bankruptcy. The last two episodes were released on December 5, 2018. The series was removed from Netflix on December 5th, 2022 because their license had expired.

And on December 15, 2022, a group of internet users created the project called "MCSM | The Netflix Archive" in order to preserve this version of the game so that it would not have become lost media.

The person who wrote this post is the creator of this project, we were able to preserve the 5 complete episodes, the trailers and in each language in which they were translated (more or less) in 5.1 audio and in the highest quality in which it was available (Full HD, 1080p), with the logos and some images.

But unfortunately some things related to this remastering could not be saved in due time for various reasons such as: lack of time, lack of knowledge of how to preserve x thing, we had not realized, etc.

I have decided to create this post to make more known about what we were unable to preserve and ask for help to one day be able to obtain them.

Before we continue, I would like to say that everything that we were able to preserve is currently available for download on our Discord server, we are also trying to upload everything to archive.org but it is very slow, so if there is someone who can help us upload everything more quickly, please DM to "pox1016" (Discord).

The languages ​​in which the game was available are the following:

English, English Audio Descriptive, Arabic, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional (for subtitles), Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, Greek, Italian, German, Indonesian, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese Brazil, Portuguese Portugal, Romanian, Spanish Latam, Spanish Spain, Russian, Swedish, Thai and Turkish.

Episodes (Dubs):

Unfortunately we recently discovered that we did not download the dubs/audio of some episodes correctly and they are lost media, and it seems that these were not recorded and uploaded to YouTube or some other place on the internet, this is the most important thing that is lost media related to MCSM right now, the only dubbings that are lost are the following:

Tutorial:

The game had a tutorial of approximately 1 and a half minutes, it briefly explained how to play the game on the streaming platform, depending on the compatible device on which you played, an exclusive tutorial would appear, with the complete internal video having a total of 4 variants:

1- Variant for computers.

2- Variant for cell phones.

3- Variant for video game consoles.

4- Variant for smart TVs.

In turn, this tutorial was translated into each language in 5.1 audio, in addition to having subtitles.

This tutorial was deleted at some point in 2019 for some reason from the streaming platform and therefore was not preserved by us or anyone known, there are only recordings on YouTube of the variants and most of the languages ​​into which it was translated currently lost media.

Subtitles:

The game had subtitles on Netflix for each dubbing to which it was translated, unfortunately we could not save them but a user named SrBig was able to download the subtitle files for English (Closed Captions version) and Latin Spanish.

"Interactive features not supported" video:

When you try to play an interactive Netflix game on an unsupported device there is a special video that appears, unfortunately we were not able to save this video as we did not find a way to preserve it, but we were able to save some dubs of the video, and we have found recordings of this video from YouTube users.
