There's something grand about learning the fight to get women's football accepted and popular among the mainstream, especially when organisations like the English FA and FIFA tried to bury this history (I wonder why?). So anyhow, Mexico hosted Italy for a re-match of the 1970 Women's World Cup, and succeeded in gaining vengeance! It helped Mexico's bid to host the 1971 Women's World Cup too...
