Ice Age is an animated movie that was produced in 2002 by Blue Sky Studios. Before the project was given to Blue Sky, the movie was allegedly given to legendary animators Don Bluth and Gary Goldman, along with Fox Animation Studios, but they turned down the author.
Premise
Ice Age was going to be a less comedy driven movie like in the final cut, prompting instead to make it more drama-oriented, like The Land Before Time. The film was also going to be hand-drawn, not CG animated. Not much else is known about Bluth's involvement in the first Ice Age.
