Since it's onscreen debut on June 1, 2003,[1] the wand ID's from Disney Channel have become a staple of a generation. As this started in 2003, there are of course lost bumpers of countless actors and cartoon characters that were popular on the channel over the course of 20 years.
The bumper most commonly features a Disney Channel actor/cartoon saying the line, "Hi, I'm [actor's name] from [show/movie], and you're watching Disney Channel!" They then proceed to draw the Disney Channel logo with a glowing wand.[2]
English Bumpers
There are a lot of missing bumpers, including non-English language dubs and ones that include the Disney Channel logo in various languages. Short versions are 5 second versions of the bumpers. In the short versions, there is no talking, and just shows the person drawing the Disney Channel logo with the wand. This is very important to note to remember what to look for. Bumpers without the tag "Short Version" are always the full versions.
