B-Robo Kabutack (ビーロボカブタック Bī Robo Kabutakku, Beetle Robo Kabutack) is a Japanese TV series made by Toei that aired in February 23, 1997 to March 1, 1998. It is a part of the Metal Hero franchise.

The plot follows the three "good" B-Robots (Kabutack, Kuwajiro and Tentorina) and his human sidekicks in a quest to find the 13 "Star Pieces" before the three "bad" B-Robots (Ganirun, Spidon and Cobrander) find them. If somebody find all 13 Star Pieces, any wish could be granted.

Availability

Despite the fact that it is a part of one of Toei's three Tokusatsu franchises, and every other Metal Hero series being released on DVD, for some reason, the Kabutack TV series didn't get a DVD release, except for the Direct-To-Video Christmas special. Since the Christmas special's DVD release, it has been subtitled in English and it's easy to find online. Songs of the show had been released on CD too.

The show did get a VHS release in Japan. However, rips of those had never been uploaded on the internet, so copies of the episodes are very sought after among Tokusatsu fans and collectors.

Currently, only four screenshots of the show have surfaced via a page on Japanese blogging site RakutenBlog, by user "heroheroine".
