Gameplay footage obtained by IGN showed that you would be able to fight off aliens as humans in a certain time frame. It was also stated that you would be able to play online through the Nokia N-gage Arnea.

As the release date for Alien Front came and went, it was never released. There is no official statement from Sega as to why this port was cancelled. Many point out the fact that the Nokia N-gage did not sell well and this may have caused the cancellation of the port. The port was speculated to have been complete as details like an MRSP, an ESRB rating, and gameplay were all released.
