A is a lost animated film by Jan Lenica about a writer being tormented by the letter "A". Just when he thinks he has gotten rid of it, a "B" shows up and continues to torture the writer. Lenica described it as follows: "It is a very simple film, with only one man and one letter in one set design. It is about a conflict between the man and the letter."

Unlike most other Jan Lenica films, it was never uploaded anywhere on the Internet, is unavailable for download, and has not been seen on television, even in Europe. It is suspected that it might show up on one of Steve Stanchfield's Thunderbean Animation DVD sets, but no confirmed footage, bootlegs, or production stills from the film have been released or seen.

Only two prints of the movie are known to exist. One of these belongs to Harvard Films, which was once shown at their annual Harvard University Film Festival.
