France Truc (partially found French children's programming block; 2004-2006)
France Truc is a French weekend children's television programming broadcast that aired on France 3 from August 30, 2004, to June 30, 2006. The show replaced T O 3 before being itself replaced by Toowam, and it was mainly aimed at children ages 3 to 11.
Presentation
Similar to its predecessor, T O 3, the characters were based on computer graphics
In an animation studio, Normaal Animation created graphics for the show.:
- Truque: (Voice by Lore Bargès (season 1) and Alexandra David (season 2)) She is a unique person because of her humor, intelligence, and creativity. As she walks and jumps, she holds a bouncing ball and stares at a television screen. Besides being white, it is also pink and green.
- Truc: (Voice by Alain Lardeux (Boochon)) He is resourceful and reckless, making him the group's leader. He has two arms on his back and half-tone spiky hair with a TV screen as his face. Blue is the item's color.
- Truk: (Voice by Alain Lardeux (Boochon)) A robotic dog adventure with Truc and Truque. A beast fantasy has been described like this. As for his personality, he has one eye inside a TV screen, two speakers in his mouth, and three legs. Besides being red, it is also translucent.
Decline on June 30, 2006
Still, France Truc was not able to achieve much success, according to Toutatele. After being unveiled for nearly a year and a quarter, Toowam was officially unveiled on July 1, 2006.
Broadcasting
The show aired at 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekday mornings and weekends, and from Monday to Friday.
Idents
Normaal Animation created some sketches and trailers for the show, and the commercial jingles were composed by Zébé and the Gédéon agency. The ad jingles feature Truque, Truc, and Truk drawn in white pencil, coming to life in a natural landscape but made of cardboard and a few objects. A minor development in September 2005, was the trailers that appeared to have been made by a movie studio.
