Around the World with Willy Fog is a 1983 animated adaptation of Jules Verne’s "Around The World in 80 Days."[1] The show was co-produced by BRB Internacional and Nippon Animation and was ultimately broadcast worldwide and dubbed in multiple languages.
In Japan, the show was titled アニメ80日間世界一周 (Anime Hachijūnichikan Sekai Isshū, or Anime Around the World in 80 Days) and was broadcast on TV Asahi from October 1987 to March 1988.[2] The Japanese dub has remained obscure over the years, the sole footage available online being the show's opening theme and ending credits, which are available to view below.
The first episode of the series was discovered online through Yahoo Japan's GYAO! streaming service and has been uploaded on DailyMotion, available to view below. The entire first season has since been added as well, and the entire season is now available to view on the GYAO! streaming service.
