Several trailers (including gameplay videos) were released, and development appeared to be going on track. However, on 2013, Disney infamously bought LucasArts. The company indicated that there may still be hope for the project, but the trademark was not renewed at the end of 2013, so the game is unlikely to see the light of day, on top of the fact Disney has started work on another Star Wars video game.
