An American Idol Christmas was an hour-long TV special that aired on the Fox network in 2003. It featured finalists from the first two seasons of American Idol, as well as the American Juniors, from the short-lived Idol spin-off of the same name.
History
The special premiered on Fox on November 25th, 2003 at 8 PM EST.[1] Filmed at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium,[2] it featured season one Idol finalists Kelly Clarkson, Tamyra Gray and Christina Christian, season two finalists Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken and Kimberley Locke, and the American Juniors, performing Christmas music.
