Professor Layton Mobile was a mobile app exclusive to the FOMA 903i/703i, in addition to some later models. It was released on October 6th, 2008, and was 315 yen a month. The app included versions of the first two games in the Professor Layton series; Professor Layton and the Curious Village, and Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, each with exclusive new puzzles.
It also included additional games such as Luke's Puzzle Book (ルーク少年のナゾブック) and Inspector Chelmey's Casebook (チェルミー警部の事件簿), as well as exclusive Machichara (a little character that gives you notifications), Decome (customizable interactive phone backgrounds), and ringtones.
Availability
The app was released on October 6th, 2008, and was discontinued sometime in mid 2012. All content on the game was transferred to Professor Layton Mobile R[1] Professor Layton Mobile R released on October 28th, 2012, and was discontinued sometime in 2014. Unfortunately, both Professor Layton Mobile and Professor Layton Mobile R are completely lost, with only some gameplay recordings and screenshots remaining.
