VeggieTales at Dollywood/Silver Dollar City (partially found live shows based on animated series; 2002-2008)

Starting in 2002, VeggieTales started doing live shows in Silver Dollar City, Missouri and Dollywood, Tennessee. These shows were specially written for these parks. Unlike VeggieTales Live, these shows used mostly puppets instead of costumes. They had costumes, but only Bob and Larry. Like VeggieTales Live, these shows had humans included to help keep the flow of the stories going. They returned to Silver Dollar City in 2008.

Dollywood[edit | edit source]

No specific name was given for this show, but this show was toured throughout Summer 2003. It was hosted by the Pirates Who Don't do Anything as well as Bob and Larry. It also had a retelling of their previous episodes, such as "Rack, Shack & Benny" and "Lyle the Kindly Viking".

Silver Dollar City[edit | edit source]

VeggieTales started its life at Silver Dollar City in 2002, with "A Very Veggie Revue". Like the Dollywood show, "A Very Veggie Revue" had retellings of their previous episodes, albeit only segments. In 2008, VeggieTales returned to Silver Dollar City with "The Invention of Silliness". Unlike the previous shows, this one was entirely original and exclusive to the park.

Many photos of both the Dollywood and Silver Dollar City shows have made their way online, but there aren't many videos of any of the full shows. It is unknown if anybody, or even an employee, has these full shows recorded.
