A new update, huh? I like it. The theme, the new templates, heck, even the new comments!

Wait. I have to remake my user page? Fine.

To All the Editors of the LMW,
Reboot Complete! Carry on, now!

==Damn Son, Where'd Ya Find This?==
For the past three years, I have been fortunate to be a member of this great community. There are many happy moments I have been able to share with you guys: Clock Man, ADWSS, Made in Point Richmond, and more. Though I was never on the Forums or Discord (something I regret), I tried to be a part of the community, whether it was editing articles or giving feedback to those who made them.
I blindly stumbled upon this beautiful site in, let's say, about April of 2015, shortly after the big move. I had been browsing TV Tropes, learning about the Sesame Street knockoff known as Peppermint Park. I immediately began looking for more information about it. Aside from a Wikipedia page, there wasn't really much information about it. Then I clicked on [[Peppermint Park (partially lost direct-to-VHS puppet series; 1980s)|this article]], and I was instantly hooked to the amazing world of lost media. Now I mostly just browse around the forums and wiki, editing articles when I think they need a little something.

==Hi, My Name is (Who?)==
However, a problem has arisen. I have done 100% of my edits on this school owned Chromebook, and as the school year ends, I am faced with a problem. I have been told I must turn Chromebook in forever, leaving me with no place to edit. Now, can I get a computer? Of course, it's just that there will be a decent amount of time in which my account will be inactive, and I didn't want anyone questioning where I was for the time being.
I guess now would be a good time to tell you a little about myself. Though I won't get too personal, I will say that I live somewhere in Northwest Ohio. Like nearly 90% of the people who browse the LMW, I am currently a student, slowly waiting for the school year to end. I'm also an avid reader, writer, and music fan.

Here is some other stuff I (for some reason) am willing to divulge.
Before I go, there are many people who I would like to thank. First, Ryanskip (aka Ryanskii, aka Mynameismeh), whose sarcastic sense of humor (and great articles) have entertained me for a long time. Second, Happy Brian, whose upbeat positivity, diligence, and sometimes deep insights about life (just look at his forum signature!) have sometimes helped me through tough times. Another person I would like to thank is Paul McCartney, whose careful patience in making articles was an example I tried to follow. My final thanks go out to all the Admins and Mods who have made my experience here most enjoyable. You guys have constantly amazed me with your talent and articles, and have constantly been something of an inspiration to me, whether you knew it or not. Thank you all for making this period of my life less shitty than I perceived it to be.
*I've been involved in many other communities. Some I am proud of (LMW), others, I am not (Sonichu)

*I sometimes go on to dead wikis and explore the knowledge they have to spare.
I can't guarantee I will be back, but I will try my damndest. Adieu, goodbye, until we meet again!

*Here's a good one: [https://anon.to/3z4JXj|The /i/nsurgency wiki]. This was a place where 4chan's numerous raids were documented, along with tools and tips. Be warned, there is some NSFW stuff on there, since it is 4chan, and there is some vandalism you may have to revert, at the risk of your IP being revealed
And of Course, Happy Editing!

*[https://wiki.bibanon.org/Main_Page| The Bibliotheca Anonoma], another cool place is something I think the LMW should also link to. Their mission is to archive pieces of internet folklife. Some stories that I think are cool that they have archived are Blindmute Loli (Not NSFW) and Damaged Goods (Also not NSFW)

===GORILLAZ===
As my unfortunately outdated username suggests, I am a fan of Gorillaz. Their music ranges many genres, from rap to rock to just about everything else.

===Daniel Johnston===
If you are a fan of outsider or lo-fi music, then you've most likely heard of Daniel Johnston. Johnston, like 99% of all other outsider musicians, first gained fame on radio station WFMU thanks to DJs like Irwin Chusid (Kurt Cobain being a fan and wearing artwork from his album during the MTV Music Awards didn't hurt) His music is pretty good, with his catalogue reaching all the way into the early 1980s. Now if you are looking for music to listen to, my personal favorite is ''1990'', his magnum opus. His one album produced professionally,''Fun'', is also pretty good too. However, if you are into lo-fi, I suggest listening to ''Hi, How Are You''.

This guy is the prime example of looks being deceiving.
His mixture of EDM and indie-pop (with a little hip-hop sprinkled in between) makes his music all the worth to listen to. His looks don't hurt as well...

The Long Goodbye

To All the Editors of the LMW,

For the past three years, I have been fortunate to be a member of this great community. There are many happy moments I have been able to share with you guys: Clock Man, ADWSS, Made in Point Richmond, and more. Though I was never on the Forums or Discord (something I regret), I tried to be a part of the community, whether it was editing articles or giving feedback to those who made them.

I can't guarantee I will be back, but I will try my damndest. Adieu, goodbye, until we meet again!

And of Course, Happy Editing! --Tripson (talk) 14:29, 25 May 2018 (UTC)
