The Tale of Charlie Pumpkinhead is an unfinished 3D-animated short film made in 2000 by DNA Productions, who is most widely known for creating the popular children's series, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. The short was written and directed by Paul Allen. The short was apparently abandoned, most likely due to DNA starting production on Jimmy Neutron.

Plot

While not much is known about the plot, what is known is that it takes place on Halloween, which is the favorite holiday of the main character Charlie Pumpkinhead. It also had to do with Charlie's love for candy.

Availability

The only info on this short is an archived version of the official DNA Productions website, as well as a former DNA employee's website. If looked at closely, a short snippet of the short can be seen on a TV in the teaser trailer for Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. How far production came on this short remains unclear.
