Before the 2002 movie The Ring came out in America, there was a large amount of hidden advertisements through random websites. This ranged from information about the characters, to knowledge about "the tape" itself.[1]

These websites can easily be found on the Wayback Machine's web archive service, but not everything had been snapshotted. This includes three teaser videos that were hosted on the sites Sadakoisdead.com and Samaraisdead.com

Sadako1.mov
