The Golden Ticket is an opera based on the 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.[1] It was partially commissioned by Felicity Dahl (Roald Dahl's wife). It premiered at the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis on June 13, 2010. There were subsequent performances at Wexford and The Atlanta Opera in October 2010 and March 2012 respectively.
A full audio recording featuring the Atlanta Opera cast was made in March 2012 and was officially released later that year.[2] There are several short video clips of the show that were released for promotional material as well as many stills,[3] but it is unknown if a full video recording of any version of the show exists.
