Robot Wars: Extreme Warriors: Season 1 was a TNN spin-off of the BBC robot combat gameshow Robot Wars. Seven episodes were broadcast from August-October 2001, such as the US Championship, and other competitions including the "Robot Rebellion", "Annihilator", "Civil War", "Tag Team Terror", "War of Independence" and a re-run of the Robot Wars Extreme episode "World Championship".

Unlike the British version of the show, Season 1 of Extreme Warriors did not receive many re-runs, causing some of these episodes to become lost media. With the help of YouTubers such as Headbanger142, most battles of Season 1 (and all battles of Season 2), have resurfaced. However, out of forty-two battles broadcast in the seven episodes, eight remained missing by 2017.[1] It was not until the 22nd and 23rd of November of the same year when Headbanger142 uploaded the remaining lost battles.

Robot Rebellion

The "Robot Rebellion" was the first Season 1 episode of Extreme Warriors. Its premise centered around eight robots competing against each other for the right to face the show's House Robots, including Matilda, Shunt and Sir Killalot.

Although the battles between Tricerabot and The Green Mouse, Rosie the Riveter vs Rot Box, and the Rebellion itself, resurfaced online, two battles remain missing. They feature one-on-one battles between loanerbots The Green House and Tut Tut, and a match between loanerbot Silver Box facing off against Close Enough. No footage or images have resurfaced of the The Green House-Tut Tut battle, whilst only a ten second snippet of the latter battle remains, showing Refbot extinguishing a burning Close Enough.

On November 22, 2017, Headbanger142 uploaded the entire episode, including the missing The Green House-Tut Tut and Silver Box-Close Enough battles.

Annihilator

The "Annihilator" featured as the second Season 1 episode, showcasing six competitors battling each other for five rounds until one was knocked out each round. The winner would be the last robot standing out the five rounds contested.

Out of the five battles, only the Third Round, featuring the elimination of Conquering Clown, has resurfaced online, courtesy of Trippppppp666. It was noted that the first two rounds were also uploaded to YouTube at some point, only for the videos to be hit by copyright strikes and thus have once again gone missing. Round Four and the Final have never resurfaced.

On 22 November 2017, Headbanger142 uploaded the entire episode, including all four missing rounds.

Tag Team Terror

The "Tag Team Terror" became the fourth episode to be broadcast. It featured eight robots that paired into teams of two, competing against each other in two rounds in an attempt to become the champions.

Out of the four battles broadcasted, only the eliminator battle featuring Tut Tut and Drillzilla vs Tricerabot and Rosie the Riveter, and the third-place playoff showcasing Joker and Falcon vs Tricerabot and Rosie the Riveter, resurfaced onto YouTube. The other eliminator battle, showcasing General Chompsalot and Run Away vs Falcon and Joker, and the Final featuring Drillzilla and Tut Tut vs General Chompsalot and Run Away, cannot be found online.

On 23 November 2017, Headbanger142 uploaded the entire episode, including the missing eliminator and Tag Team Terror Final.
