Rick and Morty is an animated adult sitcom by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, currently airing on the Cartoon Network programming block Adult Swim.

Sometime after Rick and Morty premiered, Justin Roiland was asked by the fast food chain Subway to make a series of commercials featuring the titular characters, Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith. The commercials featured Rick and Morty exclaiming that they were “the New Jared”, and promoting the product afterwards. "The New Jared" refers to Jared Fogle, Subway’s main spokesperson at the time. Availability

Justin Roiland stated he's not allowed to leak the commercials, but he put the commercials on 8 different thumb-drives and littered them in random places. Whether or not someone found one of the thumb-drives is currently unknown.
