'''''Pringles Pony Express''''' was a 2002 online game that was created with the 3D Groove game engine.

Another game on the Pringles website, running on the same engine, was called ''Pringles: Super Spud'' Boxing, but unlike ''Pony Express'', is still available while the other is lost.
''Pony Express'' was one of two 3D Groove games created for the Pringles website (the other was ''Pringles: Super Spud Boxing''.) Wayback Machine only captured the loader for ''Pony Express,'' so a logo would appear but the game would never load.

When going back to the game's adress on the Wayback Machine, a Shockwave logo appears but never fully loads.

==Plot==
Even though the game is lost, there is a plot written on both the Pringles website and 3D Groove site on the Wayback Machine. The summary reads:
Here is the original description from the 3D Groove website.
<blockquote>
"Buckle your saddle, 'cause you'll be racing through canyons and prairies to deliver those dang tasty new Sweet Mesquite BBQ Pringles. Gather up a posse and invite your friends to play along."

==Gameplay Features==
From the gameplay stills, we could see the game was set in the wild west with saguaro cacti, buttes, and buildings as scenery. The player would control the Pringles guy on a horse, delivering the Sweet Mesquite BBQ flavor Pringles from point A to point B, and the oats pictured were assumed to be powerups. It was unknown if enemies are present, and if there were any other features such as a time limit.

==Possible Gameplay Features==
==Discovery==
From what we can assume from the stills is that it takes place in the desert of the wild west with saguaro cacti, buttes, and buildings as scernery. You are the Pringles guy on a horse most likely delivering the Sweet Mesquite BBQ flavor Pringles from point A to point B. It is most likely that the oats were powerups, but unknown of what enemies are in the game. It's also unknown if there was ever a time limit in the game too.

Plot

Here is the original description from the 3D Groove website.

"Buckle your saddle, 'cause you'll be racing through canyons and prairies to deliver those dang tasty new Sweet Mesquite BBQ Pringles. Gather up a posse and invite your friends to play along."

Gameplay Features

From the gameplay stills, we could see the game was set in the wild west with saguaro cacti, buttes, and buildings as scenery. The player would control the Pringles guy on a horse, delivering the Sweet Mesquite BBQ flavor Pringles from point A to point B, and the oats pictured were assumed to be powerups. It was unknown if enemies are present, and if there were any other features such as a time limit.
