Os Amigos Vegetais was a Brazilian television program based on the hit show, VeggieTales. In 1997, VeggieTales launched in Brazil as Os Vegetais, and the popularity of this led to Top Tape wanting to produce a spin-off series, named Os Amigos Vegetais in partnering with Big Idea Brasil and Universal Pictures. The series aired 11 one-hour episodes on Rede Record in March 2005 and reached third place in network ratings. The show was directed and produced by Marlene Mattos, who was also the producer of Xuxa. Not much is known about the show, since it isn't easy to find and only one episode and 7 minutes of an episode can be found. (view below)
