Nickelback is an rock band originally from Hanna, Alberta, Canada. Around early-January 2012, Nickelback announced the tour dates for the upcoming Here and Now Tour with opening acts Bush, Seether and My Darkest Days, with one of the dates taking place in San Jose, California on June 18th of that same year.[1][2]

This would be the first time any fans in San Jose would get an opportunity to experience Nickelback since 2000.[3]
