Status: Partially Found

Martin Morning was a French animated series, produced by Millimages and created by Denis Olivieri, Claude Prothee, Luc Vinciguerra and Jacky Bretaudeau. The series was produced in association with Les Cartooneurs Associés, with animation produced by the Shanghai Jingri Animation Company.[1]

The original series consists of 78 13-minute episodes; The first, second and third seasons of Martin Morning, 2003, were creating using 2D hand-drawn animation. The English dub consists of the same number of episodes.[2] In 2018, the series was revived for a fourth season, produced in CGI after sixteen years of no episodes being produced. Both French and English versions of the revival season are widely available. However, the English dubs of the first, second and third season are mostly lost. One season 2 episode titled "Martin leads the Investigation" can be found on Mediatoon’s website[3], and episodes from season 1 are being uploaded onto YouTube by ABCTimeMachine[4].

Plot

Each episode consisted of Martin Morning, a 9-year-old boy, waking up to find he has transformed into a historical figure, character of fantastical creature. He attends school with his friends, Gromo and Roxanne, as adventures take place. The show often taught lessons related to historical events, often linked with French history.

English Dub

Little is known about the English dub, aside from what is visible in the credits of the only available episode. The company responsible for distribution of the English dub is believed to be Les Vilains Garcon, an audio studio in Montreal. In 2018, they changed their name to La Belle Equip.

"Martin leads the Investigation" was sourced from C21 Media, and suggests that MediaToon own the rights to the show. The show is listed on MediaToon's website. [5]
