'''LarryBoy: The Cartoon Adventures''' was a cartoon adaptation/spin-off of VeggieTales created by Big Idea. It was put into production a few years after the production of the LarryBoy episodes of the main VeggieTales series, when the staff was asked to make a new show based off of the title character. But it had production troubles due to Big Idea working on their first feature film at the time. Due to this, they decided to make the show with Flash animation and outsource it to another studio. The show premiered on March 16, 2002, with mixed reception from fans at the time. According to Phil Vischer, the founder of Big Idea, fans complained that it looked cheap and looked like something they should be able to watch on cable television for free. As a result of this mixed reception and because of the finical troubles that Big Idea was having, the series only lasted for four episodes total and officially ending on June 10, 2003.

LarryBoy: The Cartoon Adventures was a cartoon adaptation/spin-off of VeggieTales created by Big Idea.

Background

It is rumored that the series had an extended version of the theme song, 'He is That Hero'. This mainly comes from a MetroLyrics.com page that has lyrics to the theme song that are not in the final theme. The Amazon Music song embedded on the page, however, redirects to a track from the LarryBoy soundtrack and not the actual theme song.

Availability

The extended theme song is not yet confirmed to exist, so it's unclear if the extended cut of the song really happened or not. The only video we may have of the theme song is a bonus feature from the DVD release of the first episode of the series that includes a mute pencil test of the theme song that has slightly different visuals than the final theme.
