Honest Al's A-OK Used Car and Trailer Rental Tigers is a 1978 special intended to serve as a pilot for a comedy series.[1] The special aired in January 20, 1978 on ABC.[2]

When the Tigers, a youth league football team lose, "Honest" Al, the owner of Honest Al's Used Cards and Trailer Rentals, becomes the team's new sponsor. The proposed series was to relate Al's misadventures as he tries to run a business and manage a group of kids. Other regulars are Franklin, his mechanic; Ethel, Franklin's aunt; and the Moody, Doc and Chicago.[3]
