Hazedon (ハゼドン, also known as Chief Joker in English) is a fantasy, comedy anime series that aired for the first time in the Japanese television channel Fuji TV in the 5th of October, 1972 until the 29th of March, 1973. It was the first show produced by Sunrise.

The story is about a goby fish named Hazedon, who travels the world with his best friends, Puyan, a blowfish, and Shiran, a mermaid.

Structure

The show is structured by one season of 26 episodes. Each episode has a runtime of 30 minutes, except the last episode, which has a runtime of 22 minutes.

Each episode also has a two-part structure, since one episode has two shorts. Again, the last episode is an exception, since it only has one short.
