About

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA is a series of Japanese rhythm games developed by SEGA in collaboration with Crypton Future Media. The series makes use of the VOCALOID software, a virtual voice synthesizer, and songs created using the VOCALOID software.

Lost Playable Demo

In 2008, SEGA announced a new project known as 初音ミク -Project DIVA-, soon after, the playable demo happened to get leaked, and was only available to download for a short period of time before it was taken down. The game had some planned content that was cut from the final version, such as:

  • Free downloadable DLC
  • An online multiplayer mode
  • A story mode (Apparently later used in Project DIVA X)

The lost demo apparently contained three-five playable songs and the animations were much choppier than the final version, the charts of the demo also appear to be different than the final version. Three songs that may have been in the playable demo are:

  • Strobo Nights
  • Black Rock Shooter
  • L I N K

Lost Playstation Store Demo

Before the release of the final version, a Playstation store downloadable demo was released, it only contained a video that was later dumped and put onto Youtube, however, the iso to this demo can no longer before found and is now considered lost media.
