The game was fully finished but never released, most likely a result of a last-minute cancelation due to the poor reception of Super Godzilla which was another Godzilla fighting game. It is unknown if any physical copies on cartriges exist or not.

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters was going to be the second Godzilla video game released on the Super Nintendo, the frst being Super Godzilla.
