Description
Get Your Free TVs is the first known tech demo for the game Half-Life 2. It showed off what VALVe was working on with their new Source Engine.
History
- 2000
- Get Your Free TVs is shown at SIGGRAPH 2000[1]. Sadly, it was shown behind closed doors to members of the press.
- 2003
- The Half-Life 2 Beta gets leaked, and along with this, some assets for Get Your Free TVs. This is the first, and as of now only, time assets for Get Your Free TVs got into the public's hands.
- 2004
- The only known image is published onto a GameSpot article[2]
