Five Nights At Freddy's (non-existent early trailer of indie horror game; 2014)
On June 14th, 2014, Scott Cawthon uploaded the Five Nights At Freddy's trailer to his channel.[1] Soon after, a user called "WallMeat" comments about another trailer on July 15th, 2020. Years after the original comment was made, a Redditor named "Salcaliekmek" was able to contact "WallMeat" on Twitter. He said it wasn't on Scott's channel anymore. The trailer featured an endoskeleton that isn't in the final game. A user called "InvisibleFox23" commented with a picture of the endoskeleton. For a while, people kept searching, until another Redditor named "TheFreddyChannel" found a Wayback Machine link to Scott's old Google Plus account. There were 3 deleted videos. Two of the deleted videos were later reuploaded to Scott's channel, but the third one simply called "FiveNights," wasn't. This was believed to be the lost trailer. The link, however, is dead, rendering this video completely lost.
Debunking
On July 16th, 2020, "WallMeat" made a post on Twitter, where he debunked the existence of the trailer. He said that when he was making that comment, he accidentally talked about the current trailer. In reality he was talking about the red eyed endoskeleton image, while the regular endoskeleton appeared in the trailer. While the existence of the trailer has been debunked, it still leaves the content of the "FiveNights" video a complete mystery.
