Facebook YDKJ is a Facebook game application based on the long-running series of trivia games created by Jackbox Games (formerly Jellyvision Games). It was released for public play on Facebook in May 2012 after a beta period.

You Don't Know Jack is a series of video games developed by Jackbox Games and Berkeley Systems, as a game show "where high culture and pop culture collide", combines trivia with comedy which usually ends up insane at the same time and has new hosts with each new game, the new recent host is Cookie Masterson who is voiced by Tom Gottlieb. as of 2021, the series has twenty two games and according to a 2013 article it sold a whopping 5 million units. <ref> [1]

A mobile version for iOS was released in December 2012, of that same year it won the 2012 Spike Video Game Award for Best Social Game.<ref> [2] A couple months after that, an Android version was released in May 2013 and allowed cross-play with the Facebook application, it was basically the same thing but with different questions and the host (Cookie Masterson) would call out whether the player was right or wrong, and earn a load of cash to win the game. The new question was the Gibberish Question, and it would give you a messed up phrase, you would then have to guess what it rhymes with. It returned later in You Don't Know Jack: Full Stream

Unfortunately on January 30, 2015 Jackbox games announced it's shutdown of the game due to not that many people playing anymore. Apparently around that time, Facebook was requiring all apps to update to a new API and they said they didn't have enough time to how they've deeply integrated Facebook social networking into the game and how it wouldn't flow well.

Availability

As of August 25th, 2021 the game is no longer available on iOS and Android or PC. Quite a lot of footage exists but only of the PC version only a small amount of footage of the mobile versions are available, so it's unknown if it's playable.
