The Beast Complex Animation was an animated version of the first chapter of the comic Beast Complex (often referred to as Original Beast Complex due to it sharing the same name as Paru's first manga released in 2016), a Dōjinshi that was sold by Paru Itagaki at her college's art festival. It was an early version/prototype of the more famous manga Beastars.

The animation was only shown at Paru's college. It was about 10 minutes long. [1]

There are only a few existing images of the animation, all of which were posted to Paru Itagaki's Twitter in 2014 and 2015, along with a small snippet of animation that was featured in an animation reel on Yuka Tsuchida's Vimeo.[2]
