In the shocking crimes category, the mall shooting incidents and crimes involving celebrities were voted by people. In the world news category, nominees include the death of Osama Bin Laden, execution of Filipinos in China, the Japanese tsunami in March 2011, the royal wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William, the death of Muammar Gaddafi, and the fall of Hosni Mubarak. In the sports category, Filipinos voted boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, Philippines' national football team Philippine Azkals, the Philippine Dragonboat Team, and the emerging rugby team Philippine Volcanoes. Availability

For a while, the special was available in a blogspot for uploading GMA's specials and shows. The special was in a channel named utoquil, along with other GMA's December 31, 2011 shows that time along with the Countdown to 2012 special. However, the channel was soon terminated, thus making the special lost to time. Only the promos regarding the special resurfaced, with one trailer featuring Dingdong Dantes also lost.

Other promos were privated in 2022 primarily due to the hack of GMA Network's channel. However, the Dailymotion channel was not affected.
