Smoke Screens is a 1997 short film directed by Baxter Churchville. It is an adaptation of the Jay McInnerney short story “Smoke”. The film’s main characters are Russell and Corrinne Calloway, a married couple who has also appeared in McInnerney’s novels Brightness Falls and The Good Life.

According to the film’s IMDB page, the film runs for 16 minutes and is about how the couple attempts to quit smoking. The film has never been released in any home viewing format. It is unknown if the film was ever shown in theaters. According to IMDB, the movies genres is a Drama, it was made in the United States, and it was filmed in black and white.
